There are two rivers where rafting is possible. Ayung river in the area of Ubud and the Telaga Waja further north.
Conditions vary with the seasons but offer year round possibility of rafting their rapids.
Both locations are well populated with rafting companies with experienced guides to make an exiting but safe adventure.
River Ayung is the busiest perhaps because of its easier location to the main tourist areas although the further trip to Telaga Waja's more thrilling river is well worth the extra effort.
